I’m a Women’s Leadership Coach, blogger, and middle school leader. I love my various roles and the opportunity to build strong, positive relationships in each. What I enjoy most about being a coach is the privilege of pouring into others as God has so generously poured into me. What I love most about being a blogger is that I get to share God’s promise to give us hope and a future with people across the globe. What I love most about my role as a school leader is the unlimited potential for learning, nurturing , and growth. Leading in any capacity is hard work, but when you are called to do it, the Lord provides.
I started this blog in 2015 as a means of chronicling my journey of Servant Leadership, but I believe that it has taken on a deeper purpose. It has become a ministry, a cozy space, and a place where friendships are forged. As visitors read about my every day experiences as seen through a spiritual lens, I know that they’ll take the meat of my messages — the scriptures — and nourish themselves. My hope is that you find encouragement here, and when you do, please share it with me. Encouragers need encouragement too.
My posts are primarily about the importance of building relationships — hence the name of my blog, Two Are Better Than One. Inspiration for the name of my blog comes from Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 which punctuates the need to engage with others. No one should have to navigate the world alone, so I’m here to walk alongside you. Our most important navigation tool is the word of God. I never leave home without it. I spend a little time in scripture each day to see where the spirit will lead me. It brings me immense joy to serve God and to use my spiritual gifts to honor him. James 4:14 reminds us that life is short. Why not spend it together?
