Let Him Drive

Good Monday morning, friends! If you’re reading this post, please know that I love you and appreciate your support. <3  It’s truly a blessing to wake up each day and know that I’m doing what I was meant to do. It’s not easy waking up at 3:00 a.m. most weekday mornings, but if I didn’t, I wouldn’t have time to chat with God about his plans for my life, and I wouldn’t have a weekly message to share with you. I always see the difference between his plans and mine. Though he occasionally throws a well-timed rock onto my path to slow me down, he also equips me to jump, duck, cover, or run around the rock. I like knowing that he has my back, and he has yours too!

Today I’d like to remind you that he is completely in control of your situation and that you are dearly loved. Whatever is keeping you from pursuing your passion, is limiting the reach of your full potential. Every day that you’re alive, you should be growing in some way. Likewise, you should be sharing your knowledge with others as a means or nurturing their growth as well. We all need a helping hand. Be willing to extend yours today.

Before you pump up the volume, let’s get ready to eat. I brought a little spiritual nourishment for you. Chew on these two meaty verses. I pray that they sustain you for the week (if not a lifetime).

In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.” ~Job 12:10

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ~Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

If you’re getting ready for work, put on your dancing shoes. If you’re driving, just bob your head a little as you listen to my Music Monday selection by Kirk Franklin. Have a wonderful week!
